Bronze Sponsor - £100: Acknowledgment on our website and social media, plus 5 tickets to a festival screening day.
Silver Sponsor - £500: Logo placement on promotional materials, our website, and social media, 12 tickets to a festival screening day, and a feature on our festival website.
Gold Sponsor - £1,000: Logo on event banners, prominent press release mention, logo placement on promotional materials, our website, and social media, 12 festival tickets, a feature on our festival website, and a dedicated sponsor spotlight.
Southend Film Festival ODEON Cinema Red Carpet Sponsor - £3,000: Logo on ODEON cinema Opening Gala splash screen, prominent press release mention, logo placement on promotional materials, our website, and social media, 2 VIP tickets to Gala Screenings at Southend Film Festival including meet and greet, 12 Gala screening festival tickets, pre-screening drinks reception, and after party attendance at Park Inn by Radisson Hotel.

festival film submissions
Are you a Director or Producer with a film you'd like to see at one of the festivals?
The call for submissions to either festival will appear on social media and on this website. PLEASE WAIT FOR THE CALL OUT before submitting, as anything submitted outside of this period will not be accepted.
Horror-on-Sea Film Festival call for submissions will go out around mid June and close 1 September each year. All submissions should be made to horror@thewhitebus.org.uk
Southend-on-Sea Film Festival (non-horror) short film, feature film or documentary call for submissions will go out around the end of January and close 1 April each year. We are particularly interested in receiving films that have been made in Southend-on-Sea or the surrounding area. Please send your submission to filmfestival@thewhitebus.org.uk
Submissions to either festival should include:

year of production

country of origin

list of other film festivals that have shown your film.
It is free to submit films to either Film Festival and you will not find us on FilmFreeway.
You will be advised whether your submission was successful about one month after the closure date.
festival dealers
At each festival we hire out tables for anyone wishing to sell or display their merchandise.
You can hire a table for a day, two days or the whole festival - the choice is yours.
Taking a table will give your business a short ad on the festival website with links to your website and socials and your attendance will be published on the festival social media.
